Urban Family Tree believes it is not possible to be all things to a child. By providing children with quality mentors, it allows parents to be the best they can be without over-stretching themselves and confusing their children.

Cultural Shocks : Living in multicultural inner cities exposes children and young people to many trends, fashions and traditions. By teaching children an honest, global history from all perspectives, they should be less likely to become caricatures of the "in thing" but learn to love themselves, their differences and each other.
